Skipton Fencing club is situated in the heart of the historical market town of Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales. Established in April 2000 we are a friendly, informal club with an age range from 7 years old to well over, well let's just say, old enough to know better!

We meet weekly, all year round. Joining the club is easy, all you have to do is turn up on a Thursday evening and if you enjoy yourself come again next week. Visiting fencers are always welcome.

Equipment Provided: The club has a good stock of equipment which is available for beginners and club members to use, however we recommend that participants should wear training shoes and comfortable trousers such as leggings or tracksuit bottoms. Members may also find it useful to bring along a drink especially during summer.

Directions

Head for the High Street in Skipton Town Centre. Travelling down towards the bottom end of the High Street take a left turn at the roundabout into Newmarket Street.

Go along Newmarket Street away from the High Street, St Andrew's Church is on the left between the first and second left hand turns, opposite a row of shops (pharmacy on the west end, fish bar on the east). If you reach a mini-roundabout you've gone too far.

The hall is situated in the right hand building. Use the front entrance. Disabled access is via the ramp on the left side. Parking is available at the front. Please take care not to block access to any clear spaces.
